Most of our clients join CIC after their post high programs, but we are able to serve adults 18 years and older.
CIC serves individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities who are able to participate in the community with light supervision and group support. Our clients are active, social, and ride public transportation as a regular part of their program.
We provide services at a 1:3 to 1:5 staffing ratio, which means each staff member supports a small group of participants. While clients are always supervised when with CIC staff, support is limited and not one-on-one.
All of our services are private pay only. We do not accept Medicaid, insurance, or DSPD funding.
Many of CIC’s community activities are indoors. We partner with local businesses, rec centers, and libraries to ensure we always have safe locations to shield our clients and staff from the elements.
Clients pack their lunches and bring them to program. Certain days, clients may bring money to eat out and a variety of community locations.
Most community activity costs are included in the program’s overall cost. Certain optional activities may have an additional charge. CIC may request clients to obtain certain rec center passes or UTA reduced fair passes.
Most clients come from approximately 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM. Extended hours are available upon staffing. CIC is open most Mondays through Fridays except for scheduled closures and holidays.
